Privacy

Draft wording for development. Have it reviewed against the UAE Personal Data Protection Law and your verification provider's terms before launch.

What we store

• Account: email address (never shown to other members), password hash, and for members a first name.
• Listings: the details and photos you publish. Photos are re-encoded; location and camera data are removed.
• Verification: the short video you record stays on our server only until a moderator has decided, and is erased immediately afterwards — approved or declined. After that we keep only the outcome and the dates. The video is never published and never shown to another member.
• Messages between connected members, reports, and hashed network addresses used for rate limiting and abuse prevention.

Who sees what

Visitors see published listings: name, area, introduction, languages, interests and approved photos. Moderators can see unpublished content to review it. Contact details are never shared.

Your choices

You can pause your listing, edit or delete photos, block members and permanently delete your account from the Account page.
